Easily Embed Google Maps in All Sites in Your Account

We’ve added the option to make Google Maps the default map tool on all sites in your account. This option is available on the account level using an API Key from Google. Google Maps enhances user experience and helps potential customers find and visit your clients' relevant businesses.

The platform leverages Mapbox as the platform’s provider for geocoding and maps on your sites. We chose Mapbox as the default provider because it complies with our stringent security, data privacy requirements, and partnership standards. However, we understand that some customers still prefer to use Google Maps. This is why we made it possible for you to integrate Google Maps if it’s your map provider of choice.

How to get started

You’ll need an API Key from Google to set up the Google Maps integration - you'll need a separate API Key for each client on their own Google API account OR use one API as an agency, and Google will bill you based on combined traffic. To get an API Key from Google, click here to visit the Google Maps Platform and follow Google’s instructions to create it.

Once you have it, simply head over to your account page and scroll down to the Google Maps Integration section. Enter your API Key, hit Apply and that’s it. Once integrated, Google Maps will be the default map provider for all location searches and maps in all of your sites, including the Content Library & Map widget.

You can always disable the Google Maps API integration if you want. Doing so will make Mapbox the default map tool on all your account’s sites.
